Bugger that, just torch it for the insurance.Originally posted by zeitghostOooooer, Beeny & co are talking about selling the stately pile.
Mostly due to the waste of skin and oxygen at the local planning office.
I'm amazed that more of these people don't get offed by enraged citizens.Comment

you would have thought that after banging on about planning permission for the last 15 years she would have been able to sort it out in 10 minutes flatOriginally posted by zeitghostOooooer, Beeny & co are talking about selling the stately pile.

Although the fella they keep showing from the planning office does look like a proper jobsworth
I think the selling thing is a good peice off telly, there is no way they are gonna sell unless they have gone bankcruptComment

Is she still hinting at selling the place (she did in the two episodes I watched recently)?
If so I get the feeling this 'restoration nightmare' is really just a thinly veiled showcase to drum up interest.

I normally could not give 2 hoots about this but watching the problems she was having yesterday with the planning people made my blood boil.
She has turned what was a firkin wreck into a lovely country house and some bollock juggling jobs worth is going on a power trip
no wonder public sector is fooked - it is full of people who you would not employ to shovel tulip

Well she has the assets to emulate what Melinda Messenger blagged for free on that Cowboy Builders programme.
I wonder what Melinda did instead of flashing the cash.

For people that keep banging on about how expensive it is, and how they need it to pay it's way, they certainly bring in some expensive people to advise / do the work.
Like that custom made cistern that they bought last week.Comment
