I'll shut up because what you're writing is a lot better. But it's Friday afternoon and I'm bored. -
Hang on.... as stated.... I have mentioned on numerous occasions that I'm not doing my job, I'm bored... etc etc.... Nothing has happened..... it's been over three months now!
As stated I am now going to keep a diary for a month, if nothing improves, and I have a definitive 'list' of my greivances then I'm going to approach the agency.
I am doing nothing close to what my skill set on my cv OR the job spec stated.....Comment

What I don't understand is why is the client happy with this. Why has he got a 50pph bod for a 20pph job? (insert your own figures).Originally posted by MuggersHang on.... as stated.... There may be 'enough' work around but 'generically' skill people aren't hard to find.

The only reason I can give, being on the inside: The older 'guys' doing the job have a little 'clique'.... some people are absolute stars at appearing snowed under with work. I think this person had approached the manager to say they "couldn't cope" whilst using his round the houses/b**sh1t/inane rubbish he talks on a daily basis, which was immediately acted upon by the equally inept/unprofessional manager of his....
I used to be invited to meetings ....until I started doing some analsyis and asking questions to ascertain true root cause of incidents.... not invited anymore....
It's almost asthough I'm treading on their cosey corner of the world.
....this is turning into Agony CUK..... need a large red wine!Comment

oh I just love contracts like that. You can play all sorts of organisational behaviour type games. Milan, a poster on here is a dab hand at them, and if you wathc him carrying on can give you the pointers to turn a rather bad experience around into a fun filled contract.
Remember fun is part of dysFUNctionalInsanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

Oh I have caught them out a couple of times.... well, nigh on daily.... but it does get you down sometimes. It's also a complete waste of knowledge and money!Comment

Another tack to pursue in such a situation is to have a side project, teach yourself .Net, that kind of thing. One place a chap wrote a streaming media app so people could listen in to each others Cd's.
Do you get your time sheets signed, and paid on time? Well, don't worry about it.
Most of the posters on this board get paid to sit around all day as well and come on here to alleviate the boredom.Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
