Generally the teams will be split by function - Finance, logistics, sales etc. There will also be teams for tecnical - Basis, developments etc. The functional team needs to be made up of SAP consultants (identified by their blue shirts and cufflinks) and business people. The business people have to be the ones who really understand how their business currently works and how it should work in the future. The key is to get consultants who know what they're doing and business people who believe in the future processes, otherwise they'll try to sneak back to their day jobs.

If you want a basic roadmap for project stages then PM me.
very good points SAPBoy - its very true that without proper business engagement the whole project will be one very expensive failed IT project.

What modules areas do you work in ?

            very good....LSC perhaps ?

Yes - I am also busy "GSAPing" - the role I am in though doesnt reflect my skills or experience - I took it as a stocking filler when a previous more suitable role fell through at the last minute. They told me it would only last a couple of months but have been here for >6 and getting very bored.

Threaded, are you trying to tell us there is something YOU ARE NOT A WORLD LEADING EXPERT in?

Can you not jump in your Lambo and maybe ask the King of Denmark to help you out?

                      I'm confused
