He refuses in case we try to steal his employees away again.

You can't take it with you.

Sell it and enjoy the proceeds.

Wow, you timed that well. Gold has just nose-dived, knocking its price almost back into the middle of last week. What's your gossip source?

Just a gut instinct looking at the chart. The OHLC range was starting to go a bit haywire. Last time it did that there was a big selloff. The big selloff hasn;t happened yet, but I reckon it could happen any day now.

So, let me just get it straight - you were banging on how great gold is, how much you bought for weeks, and now you quietly say you've sold your holdings and failed to mention it with same vigor?

Does term "pump and dump" sound familiar to you?

I've heard it's a bit like earthquakes - If you expand chart ranges in a Fourier series, the time to sell is when the higher harmonics start building.

I haven't tried it, and that could be a load of waffle. But you never know - might be worth looking into as a back up or bolster to your instinct.

(Obviously it isn't infallible, or else everyone would do it and the market would be even more unstable.)

No, it's a bit like this - when a shoe-shine boy (DimPrawn) starts giving tips on public forum like this, that's the time to get out, might even be too late.

How quickly does gold fall when it does blow? Is it all over in nanoseconds or dekadays?
