You wouldn't get it past customs. All food must be binned so that Americans continue to believe Hershey (or whatever that vile crap is called) is chocolate.Originally posted by Peoplesoft bloke View PostTake some quality chocolate theirs is ****** shocking.

We used to have some Americans visit us each year and took great delight in giving them glasses of "Blue Nun" telling them that it was a quality european vintage. They looked forward to drinking it!Comment

There are some fabulous wines from the US but it's very difficult to buy them in most American 'liquor stores'.Originally posted by KackAttack View PostWe used to have some Americans visit us each year and took great delight in giving them glasses of "Blue Nun" telling them that it was a quality european vintage. We regularly exchange gifts with numerous friends in America, some of the things we've sent are;
A sculpture from a local artist
Drawings of Winchester Cathedral where we live
A hamper of traditional English comestibles
A Barbour Wax jacket (or other hunting stuff)
A British silver hip flask
Coffee table books of pictures of the British Isles.
Something from Laura Ashley
Jokey books on "How to be British"
Etc, etc....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...
