Unless they start enforcing it today, and offer significant defence to the rebels, they may be too late to do anything.
Why not pay the mercenaries to switch sides instead, seeing as it appears outside muscle is what's making the difference between Gadaffi and the rebels.Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

The regime has just announced a "ceasefire". Hoping no doubt to keep things quiet for a few days, then crush the rebels at a later date. Question is, will the uprising take heart from all this?Speaking gibberish on internet talkboards since last Michaelmas. Plus here on TwitterComment

Sod the midges, it's the horse flies I hate, the b'stards that bite chunks out of you.
Probably my second enduring memory from trips to Scotland over the years. First enduring memory was trying out the nightclub in Edinburgh the locals called Jurassic Park*. Thought it was funny until I found out they weren't joking.

I think its more of a "we're ceasefiring" to the international community, then just getting on with more bombing in the background. The giveaway is that Libyan state TV haven't said anything about a cease fire.Originally posted by MrMark View PostThe regime has just announced a "ceasefire". Thankfully it sounds like the UN are wise to Gaddafi's lies and are just going to get on with the dirty work anyway.... well, sounds like it anyway.Comment
