Why not get one of those wooden chalet things that come ready made, doubles as a comfy retreat / guest home. All you need is a concrete base and assembled in a day. -
Already been dismissed as not sound proof enough. If you're worried about noise, I don't understand why you aren't simply having your office built the other side of the kitchen garden, just off the far east wing of the main house?
