They are fraught with danger these types of discussion.

At a recent dinner party we were talking about private schools. There is a local private girls school that will take them from 3/4! Fees are about £7k a year.

You're better off leaving kids that age to play on their own for hours in the garden. That way they're likely be more self-sufficient and creative in later life.

"Socialising" kids (that horrible word used by educationalists) by sending them to school at such a young age is more likely to turn them into agreeable, sociable non-entities without an original thought in their head (although on the plus side I guess they're less likely to end up as serial killers - As Sir Francis Bacon said "Whatsoever is delighted in solitude, is either a wild beast or a god" )

I would have thought with a username such as yours, it was obvious you're female!
