Ahh! Now you know the problem with these too good to be true rep schemes.

There is no problem really, there are 3 possible scenarios:

1) genuine person reps positively - that person is in game

2) some little tulip neg reps me - so he is out of game unless that person claims it was wrong and positive reps me.

3) some impersonator positive reps me pretending to be someone else, if that person accepts game invitation then they are in, otherwise I am reps in
