I can't see how Jobs would deserve a Knighthood, the only thing he's done is to make a lot of money selling products (manufactured outside the Uk) in the Uk which then gets exported to the USA.

I'm not saying Brown was right, but I can understand why his office would reject Jobs candidature irrespective of party political issues.

The point is, that according to his Liebor mate he rejected him because he refused to attend his party's gathering - the implication is that had he done so then he'd get knighthood.

Now maybe Steve Jobs does not deserve knighthood, but the implication that he was about to get given it for attending party meeting should really be investigated by the police - there is act you know of trading knighthoods for favours!

Maybe it's because he doesn't want to honour a rival sociopath.

Honours for favours is routine and has been going on for ever.

OK, I'm convinced. Brown is a turd. But so is Jobs. Obviously.
Job motivation: how the powerful steal from the stupid.

                  Quiet, obviously.

One has created company valued at 325 bln USD, and the other wasted few times that number of taxpayer money and put their children into debt repayment for generations to come.

                  Same thing really innit?

They are both politicians at the end of the day.

                    Except Jobs, obviously.

It's simple really, just look at associations with their names:

Jobs - hard work, job creation, imminent success etc

                      Brown -
