• Barclaycard Platinum with Purchase Visa.
  0% interest on balance transfers for 17 months from account opening, with 2.9% handling fee plus 0% on purchases for 3 months.†
• Virgin Money Credit Card MasterCard.
  0% balance transfers for 16 months with 2.89% fee plus 0% on new purchases for 3 months.††
• Sainsbury's Finance MasterCard for Nectar Card Holders.
  0% balance transfers for 12 months with 3.0% fee plus 0% on new purchases for 12 months.†††

Credit card interest free periods are re-appearing. I also received a 15month balance transfer option for 15 months at 1.7% from Capital One earlier.

The bank manager told me that they are presently offering good rates on mortgages at 5x times income and told me about an 85% BTL offer.

did they ever go away?

we "stooze" on them all the time for purchases, religiously paying min needed each month, building up a large amount, then paying off at the end.

Got 4k on a Virgin card that's 0% period runs out next month. Fits with our offset mortgage, money sits in our account longer offsetting.
