Could never quite get comfortable with Geddy Lee's vocals but their music was great. Preferred ELP although a different style.

Even Subdivisions from Grace Under Pressure featured normal pitched tones from the Gedster...

        Perhaps a revisit required.

Indeed! And a trip to Northern Music on Call Lane in Leeds for that copy Gibbo SG double-neck in the window for £275 would sort thee.....

Honestly, the birds you could pull with that. I'd have it but my Shergold Six-string Bass pulls all the rampant totty I can cope with! Honest! Really......

It's true, I am the new Peter Hook and I wear my bass on my knees, despite how much my wrist hurts, and I don't wank now so it's not that!...

Even Page's SG needed open heart surgery to prevent it being an aerial. Having said that they're very cool to look at and having played one I might be tempted with an original.

Is it on sale online anywhere, might buy it just to have in the collection?

My preference is LP Customs but got a great DBZ recently that is just as good for around £600.

            Linky

Also bought one of these last week. Really good value for such a cheap instrument.

The Danelectro 59 would be interesting but a bit overpriced.

I've been on a bit of a Fleetwood Mac memory trip via Youtube for most of today. Like Rush, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd and so many others they're worth a revisit now and again.

Real musicians that can get up on a stage and hammer their music out, unlike so many of the "bands" today who can only play when there's computer backup to make them sound capable.

And, to calm things down a bit, any Nick Drake fans abound? Thought not, anyway, no live footage of Nick playing exists, most likely because of his lack of populous and the fact his songs always needed weird tunings....

Hence this is the best you can get, this lass has the tuning sorted (simple F# for a G I think) - notice her left hand does nothing - it's all in the picking on the right hand - marvellous...

Fleetwood mac would spends a couple of years in the studio making an album, that is probably about a bar of music a day. Hardly hammering it out live.
