Brigitte Bardot in La Verite - 1960 - a serious movie for BB and one which totally enthralled me, it really is a cracking film, a bit of a 12 Angry Men without the 12 Angry Men. Courtroom drama, interesting too for the way in France the Prosecution and the Defence question the accused at the same time, not one after the other like we do where you wish after, ooooh, I wish I could answer that now...
And all this is no doubt, responsible for my love of film noir and a bit a subtitling. And a box of tissues and quick fifty while it's on, of course...
