Websense can be a bit sensitive at times and a URL with the word "ass" could well trigger the "unsuitable hard core porno" filter

perhaps its time to move SKA to a less "controversial" URL ?

New version of SKA now handles 619 mln web pages
The majestic12 name is likely to drop it into some of the undesirable conspiracy categories as well, and the non-standard port number 8888 will also get you blocked on anything approaching a well configured firewall / proxy.

Bind the search process to 127.0.0.1:8888

Use as reverse proxy such as Apache mod_proxy or IIS equivalent to redirect http://majestic12.kicks-ass.org/search/ to the process on 127.0.0.1:8888

The allows to you scale easily by binding other search processes to other ports or even other machines while keeping your URL namespace consistent to end users.

Yes that's how it will be done - the reason for 8888 is that port 80 was already taken, but I should get another port 80 for properly looking search engine.
