If Fred Dibner had had a BWM, I'm sure he would have converted it to steam power and had his missus shoveling coal out of the boot to stoke an 1898 vintage vertical boiler (salvaged from a scrap yard and beautifully restored over 20 years) as he tore down the fast lane of the M1 on his way to his latest TV engagement.
