Out of all the canary island Lanzarote was our favourite. Nice walks, nice marina etc...

We did one of those jeep safari things around the island. It was really interesting finding out about how they grew crops and collected water before the advent of desalination plants.+50 Xeno Geek Points

Florida is good if you don't mind the long flights
The canaries is a good choice, not too far away and usually very good for sun and warmth.
Majorca is noce although I have never been in the cooler months, sounds good for April though."The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." CiceroComment

Egypt - Sharm el sheikh @ 4 seasons, although the shark attack has meant snorkling in the red sea is dangerous!! Did a boat/submarine trip was pretty awesome so snorkling would have been excellent, very hot!!!Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostWe've decided to move up from the caravan this year and Butlins and I need recommendations for a good holiday destination for the last week in April and 1st Week in May(missing the half term).
Been to the Lopesan hotels in Gran Canaria a couple of times which are large 5* Star complexs pretty good for children.
Anyone have recommentations for good spacious 4* + Hotels and locations for families with kids, within 5 hours of the UK and hot?Comment

I fookin hate Egypt. Egyptians particularly. Egyptians in Cairo. In the market specifically.
Almost got killed there about four years ago and got ripped off on a buying trip for the business. If I never see a fooking Egyptian again it will be too soon.
(But thanks for the suggestion)
