'O' level in Computer Studies. Degree in Accounting and Finance.
Would have studied CS at uni but there seemed to be a distinct lack international tottie on that course. Damn my teenage hormones.Comment

GCSE Computer Studies, followed by years of nothing but actually building applications and rolling them out, then the old CITP thing, which proved to be completely pointless.
I gave up actually doing IT in 2003 - it seemed too much like hard work.Comment

BSc Hons Computer Science from what the Times ranked as 5th best in the country for the subject at the time.
Played it a bit truth be told, because of how it was graded, your top 8 modules get 3 times weighting, then next 8 a weighting of two followed by your worst 8.
I worked my socks off at the ones I was good at and neglected the others. Narrowly missed a first, I dread to think how many people could get good grades at uni if they put a bit of effort in
Since then I started an OU MSc but it was tedious and pretty out of date, as soon as IBM stopped picking up the tab for the modules I dropped it pronto.Comment

I've got a TOPS COBOL programming certificate from 1983....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

Maths because I enjoyed it. Didn't do CS because the only places doing it at the time were renowned for their lack of totty.Originally posted by lightng View Post'O' level in Computer Studies. Degree in Accounting and Finance.

Forgot about my o-level Computer Studies. Kind of over-shadowed by my degree in Maths and Computing. I worked for a technical manager, by the name of Tulip, who had a botany degree. Tulip by name, tulip by nature...Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

The BCS Foundation Certificate in software testing, no less, around 2001. Since got the certificate re-written as ISTQ.
I actually did the intermediate in 20 minutes in a prometric centre with no training, which shows either I have been testing for too long, or the exam is a mockery!Comment

they didnt have IT when I were a lad.
But i got a degree in Electronics (valve stuff) and then another in History when I was 30.
i am most proud of my Bootle school leavers (grade 3) in metalwork. I had to make holes in a bit of steel with different types of file
