Asian office culture

I've upped sticks and i'm now in Singapore contracting where the rates have gone berserk in banking. A lot of drinking seems to get done and not a lot of work despite them loving being in the office long hours.

The guys here seem to like to work 8am-7pm. Most of the time during the day they are chatting or drinking coffee though

Good luck. You'll find that all the bugs / testing will be done the first two weeks after the live date if it's anything like the mobs I've worked with in that region.
