You'll never make a successful contractor.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostIt hasn't. They had some stuff wanting developed. They reckoned 50 days. I've done it in 15 and that was with posting on here and taking it slowly!!!
If the client estimates 50 days you take 50 days.
Any issues that come out of it (and there always will be issues) and you'll get labelled as someone who cuts corners or rushes through.

Right that's it. I going to threaten to

I'd prefer it if no one talked to me all day. I hate office chit chat.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostThis is the one thing I notice since going back contracting from being perm.
Maybe it's the run of contracts in the last 12 months with this site being the worse. For 4 weeks I have been stuck in an attic on my own. Nobody to talk to all day. Then off for a lonely lunch.
The core team is in a building at the other end of the client site. Earlier in the year I was on an outsourcing project where I was the only rep on site and not allowed to talk to people.
Soul destroying. Truly soul destroying.
