Yes, yes, yessitty yes.
Poxy crap government web sites that don't render properly and their stupid, over-engineered security. And you can't print out the return on A4.
It's all a Heap of Wank™, like most other government webshites. My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think. -
Is that bigger or smaller than a Pile of Wank™?Originally posted by RichardCranium View PostHeap of Wank™"See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

I didn't even read the thing they sent out telling you that paper returns were no longer acceptable.
Phoned the VAT helpline because I couldn't find my paper return only to be told it wasn't allowed any more
For anyone who's not switched yet, remember to write down that number they give you when you register on the gateway. If you don't you'll spend a long time on the phone sorting it out :-)When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....Comment

It seems fine to me. I submitted again yesterday without a hitch paying via BillPay and printed out my proof of payment. The only downside is you don't get a reminder about due dates. I forgot last time and received a 'you've been a naughty company' letter from HMRC.Comment

The instructions on the website for filing are so obfuscated that they are completely useless, I had to google how to do it for flat rate.
Complete tulip of a site!
On the payment side though, the funds are taken automatically from your nominated account now so you shouldn't need a reminder? If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur. - Red AdairComment

Seems fine to me too. I just wish they'd make the Corporation Tax and annual accounts that simple. Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment
