Is there anything more weak-minded and meaningless than having "faith"?

    1) Trolling, not as much as dooogh. And I do believe the title of my thread.
    2) I can't possibly waste members time. Only they can choose to do that.
    Hard Brexit now!

Good of you to bow out as soon as you realised you couldn't defend your position though, rather than drag it out.
Yep. it gave us a chance to say something that we felt was important, viz a viz faith.

        1) Your behaviour more closely resembles trolling than d000gh's - or at least the definition of trolling I understand. At least you're honest about it.
        2) Very good.

Faith helps deal with real tough times

Ok, there's tough times and then there's those times where you are smacked for six, like grief. That's when faith helps. When utter madness prevails in your head - faith helps you focus and deal with it. I don't have this strong faith but I have observed those close friends that do have faith deal with these situations better than other friends that don't, myself included.

I am referring to grief for a relationship actually, not just for a dead person.

Why create the thread if you're not interested in responses? Is this what is meant by 'trolling'?
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Looks to me like the thread was started to "test" us and see if anyone was smart enough to "spot the flaw"

Which proves just how clever Sas is, of course <I am not worthy smiley>

It was a dig at doh! As well as an interesting discussion in its own right. I still stand by the thread title.

Yep. I'll get back to making the tea then.

PS - d000hg - stop rising to it.

It is interesting, certainly. I can respect someone's right to their faith, while personally having no religious beliefs.

I don't think anyone is disputing the right to any sort of belief system. The other token of which is my right to take the piss out of said belief system.
