Don't some big companies have on-site crèche facilities?
Thought you all read the Mail; it was their big story yesterday. Here's an interesting take on it from the Telegraph:

I was very concerned about work when I started lactating but it turned out to be advantageous as I ended up getting new customers on my webcam.

Either that, or the child will be stored in the fridge until required. I believe hypothermic babies don't cry much.
I was just listening to Women's Hour on R4, caught the last bit of a chat about it. It's about employers enabling women to express in comfort after returning to work, rather than forcing them to rush to the loo. Not sure about the practicalities of that - are employers supposed to dedicate an entire room to the possibility of breastfeeding mothers?
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

How long before we see "breast feeding compliance officer" jobs being advertised? Or perhaps offices will instead recommend all staff are ready to lend a hand as needed.

I don't mind them breastfeeding at work so long as I can knock out sperm samples at my desk.

In fact it could be a productive arrangement.

He obviously had the sack for it.

I know a guy who did that after everyone else had gone home. Er, ground floor office on a busy street... I heard the police became involved after his activities were spotted by a passer by.

I'd left the company at that time, but some years later I worked with him somewhere else. I was tasked with reminding him that surfing p0rn at 9.30 a.m. was not appropriate use of company time and resources. I bottled it and bollocked the whole team.

                    Ha.

The guy at my place was caught by some poor cleaner. Men, tsk.

Why change the habit of a lifetime?
