Not much snow but the frost - it's been minus several all day, even in the sun.

Snow is melting pretty quickly here.
We got a 4 wheel drive the other day but delivery will be January. Last year we had a 'through gritted teeth' domestic in the street, I had to push the car out of the drive backwards and she slammed on the anchors just as the front wheels were in the gutter. Took me 30 minutes of rocking the car and shoving with everything I had to get it out. Women.Comment

On Friday morning we had just enough snow to make things look scenic, and it continued on Saturday. There was definitely enough to grind London to a halt, but life here continued as normal. It's all melted now where I live, though I must admit I haven't ventured very far today.Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.Comment

I find my local forecasts during icy blasts are hopeless. Every time I check, anything more than 24 hours from now changes radically.Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostBoth. Tuesday's forecast looks to be inclusive of more southerly and westerly areas. The east and particularly NE has had the most so far.
Snow must be very unpredictable for the met office.Comment
