Looks like Dallas is about to go for that job in the Lodge.
What job would that be, then?

One of, if not the best managers that Celtic and Scotland ever had was a Freemason, so where's your conspiracy now?

Are you going to start trotting a load of crap about the Orange Order now?

Face it, some Scots have a major inferiority complex and hate it when they lose. Instead of improving their performance they'll always look for someone/something else to blame.

Before anyone starts by some Scots I am referring to members of all religions.

The only reason you're harping on about football is because you're no longer permitted to have your tribal running battles along Sauchiehall Street.

Not at all. It's like when you go to a urinal and you see a fag butt in it. It doesn't belong there, adds no value to what is about to occur, but you can't help pissing on it anyway.

You've clearly never been to Glasgow on the weekend of an OF game.

Like Referees that fail Competency Exams, and are also guilty of lying you mean?

There's always two sides to a story Shaun.

Referees were thought to be unhappy with the continued criticism and with a mood that they feel could increase the risk of violence against them and their families. They were also upset by a newspaper report that 80 per cent of officials had failed an exam on the rules of the game, stating that in fact the test was a routine quiz conducted as part of ongoing training.

However, the Daily Record has it this was an exam under exam type conditions. It's not like a Red Top to be sensationalist now is it.

And 'Referee guilty of lying' (singular, not plural).

I don't remember this getting commented on by the tinfoil hat brigade.

Well I make that only a 50% success rate. I hope the Establishment give those refs back their Lodge dues.

Furthermore, to the period in the 60's/70's/80's when some posters seem to think it was so rife. From 1964 to 1987 (that's 23 years for you) Rangers won the league a grand total of three times. Yup, three times.
Not exactly 'Operation Whitewash' is it?

Unless of course we no longer count the Head of Referee Development as being a "ref" in any sense of the word.
Yeah, I see where you are coming from right enough!

It is all very simply explained. The harsh facts are that we were simply so much better than Rangers during that period, that even a few "honest mistakes" would have made little difference.

“Mike McCurry has revealed that he has received death threats, dead rats and razor blades from angry fans during his career. "Aberdeen fans send me dead rats in the post and that kind of stuff…."Every now and again, you get that kind of thing, especially from Dons fans."After one game against Rangers or Celtic, some Aberdeen fans sent me chicken giblets."

"I think it goes back to a Hearts-Aberdeen game I did once," he said. "Right at the very end of the match, Aberdeen, who were 1-0 down, had the ball in the net, but the linesman called offside. "The TV pictures proved it was 100% correct. But, at the time, the Aberdeen fans weren't too happy and I suppose they've never forgiven me. "So you get the usual death threats and that sort of stuff. "Once I even got a letter with a razor blade taped to the inside. “

Did they strike after this? No…so why now?
Now if you were to listen to the "impartial fourth estate" in Scotland, you would be forgiven for thinking that this whole debacle came about just because of one Club, Celtic, complaining about just why someone that had been caught lying to them was still allowed to carry on with no real censure. The SFA.......Hypocrites and crooks almost to a man!!! And they are quite prepared to let a large number of cash-strapped clubs risk going to the wall in order that they can continue their vendetta. Shameful indeed.

BBC Sport - Football - Israeli FA unaware of Scottish refs' strike reasons

The Israeli FA is sending two teams of top referees and officials, including Mair Levi, 42, one of the country's highest-ranking referees and international ref Eli Hakmon as cover.
Wouldn't it be funny if the Dhim's get Eli from Tel Aviv. Better start hiding those Palestine flags boys.
