Anyone from Europe can come here so presumably our population won't stabilise until our standard of living is worse than the worst bits of Europe. But when that happens, they just make Europe bigger.
I think so. I don't care which 60m people are in the UK if they are educated and skilled, as long as we can all get along.
Thats nice, so what do you propose we do with the hundreds of thousands of uneducated Somalis that can't read or write in their own language let alone ours?
The point being that (ICT's aside) the only 'educated and skilled' people coming into the UK are from the EU.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

What about them? Are they in the UK? There's a big difference between asylum seekers and immigration too, to me immigration means becoming a full citizen with English passport, etc.

I'm amazed that you can comment yet you don't know there are 500,000 Somalis in the UK? Asylum seekers may not be citizens but they sure as hell aren't staying at the Ritz and going on open top bus tours so they have to count toward our total population.
