    Voluntary redundancy package

Who managed to get some money before shutting the door from a permanent job? I have always been too honest to do that. But what's your case?

After how long? How many months of redundancy you managed to get?

Funniest anedocte was from a guy who allegedly told his boss that unless he gets a good redundancy package he was going to paint his desk green so to facilitate his ping-pong practice.

Just the once for me. Got what was about 6 months salary at the time, which wasn't bad as I'd only been there 2.5 years.

6 months paid gardening leave followed by the equivalent of 12 months take home as a pay off (for 10 years service).

Guess where I was contracting only 18 months later?
