    flood great the

the best theory I ever heard was that the land bridge at the Bosphorus was broken about ten thousand years ago.

The result was that the med flooded into the black sea over the course of a few months and the peoples around the area were treated to a mega tsunami. The bad news for them was the water did not retreat much. The resulting displacement of peoples spread the story and the likely massive impact on literate societies made sure the memory stuck.

I've just come up with a beautiful scientific theory that fits all the evidence.

      1. All religious fundamentalists are one salad short of a picnic.
      2. Ergo, they must have had less time to evolve and develop.
      3. Perhaps an alien intelligence did create these "secondary modern" humans on April 9th 4004 BC.
      4. The rest of us "grammar school" humans have evolved over a much longer period.

It would certainly explain a lot.
      Hard Brexit now!
