      Serious note:

despite we could pretend to be anything and anybody here, in the long run we end up probably being much closer to what we really are than we might think
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

I will concede that "spic" isn't used as often as wop.

The cloggies call Italians 'spaghetti eaters', which is a bit weak really.

              Indeed - including "Welshman".

Padanians from the north eat mostly polenta, southern italians are "terroni" (peasants).

I like the terms "zucchini" which is used by the swiss italians about the swiss germans (to indicate "zucca" (pumpkin - but also "thick head") to mean germanic stubborness)

Being English, but of German and Scots extraction, I'm liable to offend everyone by eating haggis with Worcestershire Sauce and sauerkraut. Mmm yum yum.

I lived in Zürich as a teenager. Indeed, Swiss Germans are in many ways even more German than Germans. My girlfriend was from Locarno; beautiful place, I spent many weekends in Ticino in the summer.

                      Eh?

I'm not much different in real life, I don't think.
