Give a wad to family and friends, leaving about 7.5 Mill.
I already have an agreement with my best mate that if either of us won a large amount on the lottery we'd buy each other a motorbike of choice.
Nissan GTR in stealth black, and a Nissan Juke for the wife, her needs are simple. Expect she'd want a
Honda CBR600RR as well.

Build a new home in Devon, or possibly the New Forest, sod it make that both.
New garage at the gaff in London.
Gig a little, travel some too. One of which would be touring the US on a motorbike for a month or 2.
Come back and retire :-) well actually probably not.Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.Comment

I would invest it. I would buy a house with a mortgage and pay that, as well as fund purchases of cars and so forth, with the income generated. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

There's nothing I need materially, so I would invest it with the rest of my wedge.Hard Brexit now!

Leave the vast bulk of it in a Euro account for a few months then decide. I'd invest first though, like I do with my pay on well-paid contracts.
What I'd spend it on is likely to include a modest property, renovation and sale of this one, uni, exams, courses and assisting a community organisation I'm a member of with conversion and renovation of their properties.
I think I would still work. Bench time is pretty miserable even when I've had funds.Comment

Is this a good or bad comment?Originally posted by kandr View PostNissan??????????? WTF!!!!!!!!!
WTF didn't realise Nissan made such great looking and performing cars, 3.8 V6 twin turbo.
OR
WTF are you buying a Nissan for when you have £10mill in the bank.
Nissan £56k ish, I could never justify hundreds of £k on Ferrari etc...
Perhaps an Audi V10 R8 but still too expensive.Last edited by Scrag Meister; 9 November 2010, 16:08.Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.Comment

I'd get a Nissan or other Japanese car, though somthing cheaper to buy and run and not so sporty. It would also be in black.Originally posted by kandr View PostNissan??????????? WTF!!!!!!!!!
£1000 million I'd upgrade to a helicopter, also in black.Comment

You should blow it on a personality. A £10M one ought to just about make up for your other inadequacies.Originally posted by sasguru View PostThere's nothing I need materially, so I would invest it with the rest of my wedge.
