Round here, the City Council postponed the Guy Fawkes' Night fireworks display from November 5th to November 6th, as November 5th was given over to the big Diwali fireworks display in the Hindu area of the city.

But it is hard to work out what the motivation behind such a decision is, other than to wind people up.
