Theres been growth in two consecutive quarters for the construction industry. The spending review also allocated a lot of construction projects so its looking promising. I actually wrote a small article about this on our website today.

Unfortunately the construction growth is only temporary and won't last.

ffs, construction growth was resumed house price inflation, once real estate values fall so will construction even if they make same number of houses which is pityful in any case.

This maybe true, but the same was once said of the horse and cart industry and we survived that going downhill.

The point is, nothing is forever anyway. The construction industry is getting us through a few quarters at the moment, so let's accept it. Something will come along and take its place in a while, it always does.
