Inter have to come to the lane yet. Looking forward to that one.
I was looking forward to this game. I am still wobbly from the pub, so am trying to temper the emotions that run in my veins with that of logic.

I think Tottenham (as newcomers to the champions league) have done themselves proud. In spite of the fact that we will get knocked out in a later round (most probably, let's face it), to beat the current champions at home by some margin is something I will be telling my kids and grandkids about.

As a spurs fan, I am well proud, but also with the humility that other spurs fans may well lack at this present moment.

Good job lads, long may it continue, until the end.
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

A really impressive result against a top side. Bit worried about Van der Vaert having to come off, was he injured? Hope not, as I have him in my Fantasy Footy team and he has been worth a few points. Good win for Man U too, but did anyone catch the Rangers result? I do hope they did jolly well in order to help Scotland's coefficient and all......

As a neutral it was a great game. And the English team won.

Yep, Benitez has definitely cracked it.

Is it only six months ago that Maicon was world class and the rest of their defence was as tight as a crab's arse?

The Italian League? Give him time, that's next!

Inter have conceded 8 in the Champions League. Only three of the other 31 teams have conceded more.

But they were the 2nd in goals scored in the CL.

Yet they are not prolific in the Italian League.

On a related note, Liverpool have just appointed Damien Comolli as their "director of football strategy".

Comolli's past experience as a football strategarian includes the strategy of dumping Martin Jol and headhunting Juande Ramos, at great expense, for Spurs. What a success that was.

Harry Redknapp was once asked what he thinks of "directors of football strategy". Not much of his reply would get past the CUK swear filter, apart from the w**ker smiley. Good luck Woy Hodgson.
