Sounds like fun. I love some of those quaint old customs.

Try queueing in a local post office during lunch time - I've seen shorter queues in USSR when humanitarian aid was delivered!

Why not just send your driver?

Golf was one of the things we did not have in USSR

I found bus etiquette really good in Siberia and even Moscow. You could pass the your fare to the line of passengers to the driver. No bags on seats. Men always help ladies off buses. No graffiti or badly behaved passengers.

I'm going to have my businessman undies on.
Some house work to do too.

                Sunday
DB maint and reference data updates.
                Maybe a bit of Excel.
                Weekly bath.
Then pub - I've been avoiding going out. It's been nearly three weeks since I've been in a pub. The isolation of working at home is not good for people. It may be seriously damaging me.
I feel a lot better for that.

One pint of Fuller's London Pride - barely drinkable.
Two pints of Green King's IPA - Excellent form, best beer I've had in a long time.
One pint of Young's Bitter - OK, but after the IPA it was a bit of a disappointment.

                Never really spoke to anyone.

For those that desire working from home - DON'T. It's not good for you.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
