        GFS data

Snow expected in most of the UK in late October.

Enjoy it, it's very rare for it to snow in the UK.

Probably will be just freak occurence, before a mild winter which the Met office is expecting.
        I blame Global Warming myself.
Apparently, if we all do not stop being so profligate with our planet's natural resources, we run the risk of losing Norfolk to rising sea temperatures.
Now I don't know about you, but if we analyse that particular county's impact on the cultural and and socio-economic well-being of the nation over the last 50 years or so, I am fairly confident we could have survived the loss of Turkey Twizzlers and Delia Smith.

that's interesting that the Met Office is expecting a mild winter, because in Central Europe and in Scandinavia they are expecting and preparing for the hardest winter in decades

That whisky ad on the Independent site is really irritating. I gave up trying to read the article.

I was reading this thread thinking, "gosh no clown has mentioned GW yet" when saw your post

You did avoid the trite "it's snowing today obviously GW is rubbish"... are we leaving that comment for DimPrawn to make?
