At least they gave it a go, as an England, boyhood Liverpool fan and regular Bristol City attendee... I'm done with football.Originally posted by Doggy Styles View PostI haven't seen it but it sounds like a good performance by the old Jocks.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

I know you're right but two seasons ago I thought Liverpool were going to win the Premier League and Bristol City were going to get promoted, AFAIR England have always let me down.Originally posted by FiveTimes View PostKeep the faith GJ. Reading this sums up football for me, the last paragraph is especially poignant, I shed a tear the fist time I read it. (NSFW)Science isn't about why, it's about why not. Well it was live on German TV strangely enough and in the 1st half Scotland looked like they were playing negative football, they were dire. However in the second they obviously had something stuck up their kilts and were much the better team for most of it. I would have laughed my head off if they had won, well done nonetheless...“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment
