Just been told I'm starting a 3 month contract on Monday, but the agent needs to dot the i's with the client. Not too bothered if it falls through (it's quite a hike across west London and the rate is sub 200) but at least it shows there are some contracts out there. On reflection I'd sooner be working come the darker days, so fingers crosssed.

OK, 2009 was a bad year in Holland, but even the most junior testers fresh out of college were on 35 euros per hour.

Well yes, I'd rather like to live in the UK, somewhere like rural Warwickshire or Worcestershire, but if I can't earn a decent living there I'll stay here on the continent.

2008 was my bad year, and I actually rather like living in the UK

I don't, but still have to wait another year to get the hell out. (all Mr N's fault)

Still gives me a year to check out properties in the Netherlands.
