Three kittens were dumped outside Lady Tester's parents' farm earlier in the summer (as often happens unfortunately). Now you wouldn't think that someone would dump pedigree kittens, but that's what happened.

We picked up the cat on Sunday, after much persuasion from the agrarian side of the Tester family, and Lady Tester took it to the vet yesterday for a check up. The vet was astonished that someone would dump such a fine specimen, insisting that it can only be a pedigree Abyssinian, and frankly I am too. Not only am I disgusted by people who don't care for their pets, I am amazed to have gained such a noble feline without paying the absurd prices that are asked for pedigree cats.

No. It could possibly fetch 1000 euros, but I'd rather keep it, even though I am not interested in cat breeds. It's a friendly little creature and has had a tough time.

It will be a welcome and noble addition to the Tester household.

I keep getting told that two of the NorPusses cannot be designated posh pusses unless they came with paperwork.

Nope; she was dumped. She is an undocumented posh mog. I don't actually give a stuff whether some cat fanciers' socity (something a bit pervy about 'fancier') recognises her, I find all that fetishism with correct pointing and paperwork a bit weird.
