I never said owt about not going to a decent boozer The usual format is pub, chat while Xeno and RH flirt outrageously then onto restaurant. Then pub while people drift off their separate ways leaving RH and Xeno to pretend to walk CM to a nightclub but managing to hail a cab and disappear into the night.

We will more than likley end up at the restaurant that allows us to book 10 people in without wanting £20 a head in deposits.

What is the fascination with the Ship & Shovel?

Has it become the defacto base for sad contractors to meet up & discuss CUK? Is this the CAMRA headquarters for the best Ale in London? Is it the cheapest place with no dress code and a fag machine that does rollies? Do some of you have your own Pewter tankards behind the bar!?!

Spoke to Belgo Centraal.

Deposit £10 each, 2 fixed menus £25 and £30 - the £30 looks better (more variety in the dishes you can choose from) and a "free" beer/glass of wine. Though they are saying that if we book and people don't show they'll want the full price of the meal.
