The book of eli (2010) Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman

"A post-apocalyptic tale, in which a lone man fights his way across America in order to protect a sacred book that holds the secrets to saving humankind. "

Some very good action scenes that pepper a pretty dull plot. The film drags on for 2 hours. Some slight but unimpressive twists in the end but all in all worth a miss.

KickAss - 2010 - Super hero comedy - 9/10, Rated 18. Worth the hour and a half. Lots of action, loads of laughs.
Taken is a good film, although the "father avenging" bit is played better by Gibson in Ransom I would suggest. I would watch Taken again.

            Stardust - 2007.

Great fun film that owes a lot to Princess Bride. Not much in the way of blood and guts action and no boobs, unless you count Robert De Niro doing the Can-Can in a corset. It does have Claire Danes and Sienna Millar who both brighten up the proceedings. Screenplay was written by Jane Goldman, who has a spectacular pair of chesticles.

This is true Zippy. Yesterday we caught a few minutes of Catwoman (the film) I'd never seen it before. I remarked that it was just 2 birds in tight clothes fighting. He said "And?" and gave me the "You just said something really stupid look"
