                It was probably something in The Museum of Unworkable Devices, which was in MLFTB VII

                      I have and do, yes, because I find a lot of the hand waving and analogies don't really explain things very well. These days, I would rather put in the effort to learn some new mathematics than read another pop-sci book. I do sometimes wished I had worked a bit harder at uni.
