Tis near the season to be jolly,
and partake in xmas folly,
I am here to ask what you wish from me,
and expect to see under your christmas tree.
Now be good girls and boys, come sit on Santa's lap and tell me your wishes

Well, I would, but I think AtW would contradict me.Originally posted by Santa View PostNow Mr Hairy#Bloke,
Philosophers have been debating what is good and what is not for MANY many centuries, I used to take part in some of these discussions before the baby boom of the fifties. Many people find that it's more complicated than just being kind, and several complex religions have arisen with the attempt to understand the difference between good and evil. While every person's journey is different, being good has a lot to do with discovering yourself and your role in the world. I would suggest as a start to consider:
Be Proactive - By avoiding bad behaviour, you've made a big step towards becoming a good person, but you've only just begun. In order to be good, you actually have to do good things rather than just avoid doing bad things.
Consider the results - It's not enough to want to do good, and to try to do good--you must also think about whether your actions actually had good results. Not every attempt to do good will end with good results you know.
Define "Good" to yourself - ultimately, you have to decide your own code of ethics
Give people the benefit of the doubt - assume each person you meet is a good person, and act likewise.
So, with the above in mind, would you say you've been a good boy this year?
I try to treat every situation with equanimity; in my trading I observe if an instrument is trending up or down and position myself appropriately. However, AtW believes that it is naughty to be that way and I should be prejudiced against short trades. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Don't worry about AtW, he's like a fart in the bath. Noisy, creates a few bubbles, smells and the dissipates. Therefore he can be labelled a man of little import.Originally posted by HairyArsedBloke View PostWell, I would, but I think AtW would contradict me.

Ahh Miss Jak, I may be able to work wonders what with slowing time to get my annual chores done, but I'm afraid I can't start changing history, what will be will be. However, as you allowed me to post freely after just 5 posts I will try and endeavour to ensure that the Jak household will have more reason to celebrate this year than lastOriginally posted by cojak View PostI rather like this sockie.
Dear Santa,
Could you please give me an acceptance decision on any other the interviews I've recently been to?
Thanks,
Cojak.

Master Spod, a five-seat turbine powered helicopter is a rather large and expensive gift. For this, you would have to have been extraordinarily nice to everyone all year, now, I have seen that this is not the case on a few occasions and so for this year you will have to set your sights a little lower.Originally posted by SupremeSpod View PostDear Santa,
Please can I have a Robinson R66?
Regards,
Spod
However, if you do play nice with all others between now and Christmas next then we will see what happens.Comment

Ahh Threaded, an esteemed friend of mine, I have not seen him for many years. We are very similar you know, but not in the way you might expect.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostI can smell Steak and Kidney as well, I assumed it was coming from the kitchen.
HoHoHo
I do believe though that he quite looks up to me, what with his time travel endeavors, but I think our main similarity lies in the love of a good homemade mince pie
Yes yes my dear friend Threaded, it would be good to see him again.Comment
