8 years ago I was working for a tulipe company implementing some 'management information system' so they could bankrupt themselves trying comply with ISO 9001, was working idiotic hours for no thanks and a pittance. There was another of those f**king recession thingies going on so salaries were tulipe and everyone was in a thoroughly tulipe mood. I vowed then and there that my next step would be contracting as soon as the market recovered, and that's what I did.

8 years ago I had completed my first contractor stint (3 month gig) after getting laid off just before the world cup in 2002.

I think we bought a new fridge freezer that year ?

Perhaps if you weren't such a gimp. But my lad, you've pissed on your chips, well and truly.
