Winehouse was a case of huge talent pissed up the wall, or snorted up the nose depending on which way you look at it. Either way a waste.
Duffy isn't actually that good but the record company is behind her cos she isn't about to self destruct and might actually make them some money.
Paloma Faith is far better, a class act and making some excellent music.
Best of the bunch at the moment though, I think, is Imelda May. Check out her stuff on youtube. Irish Rockabilly/R&B/Blues. Great stuff.
