IIRC,
it was the change in "Modding" that seemed to herald most of the flouncing, rather than any given poster. Personally, I have had no real issue with the Mods either before or after the changes, so do not see what annoyed so many people.
I must admit, the Board does seem to have lost "something", but it is difficult to establish just what.
Oh well, it may just be a phase, and will pass..........like some sort of bowel blockage.

I miss the good old days when the Daleks were discussing world domination, Chico tried to establish his own IT religious cult following, caravanning was a favourite holiday destination, James T Kirk posted more often to the dismay of Zeity, CUK MUD wasted lots of my time, Beaker answered all our questions and people generally discussed how to spend their wealth or fill yer boots quicker than the recent past posts of "who's in contract?", "someone's upset me", "f### off seriously" etc. etc.

perhaps we need an amnesty whereby no sarcasm or newbie bashing is allowed for anyone under 10 posts and fresh meat err I mean newcomers can ask any question they feel or discuss any topic (within the board rules) without the thought of being ridiculed or shot down..

I agree. We've lost our mojo. I want to know about how well people are doing, not how they're benched, struggling.

And I agree with the second point. As mentioned, there are no real cliques within CUK, apart from the regular posters themselves. For a newbie entering general, everytime one of us takes the piss they flounce.

Perhaps we need a Grooming Forum, where senior posters cannot venture...

1) a long overdue CUK bloodbath, I vote minestrone, MF, shaunboy and just for a laugh Nina to get the boot with immediate effect, no reason really other than it's a bloodbath and in that you get casualities
2) a demand for all sockies to own up they're a sockie
3) and possibly a good old fashioned witch hunt for something based on what I heard just for good measure..
