Leeds is happening if you like nightlife. The surrounding areas are terrible though unless you head north towards Adel, Shadwell, Harrogate, Wetherby in which case it gets a whole lot better.
Contract rates are still depressed though and opportunities aren't what they were 4 years ago (naturally) but there are signs of improvement.
What you will get is warm friendly people and you'll get a proper curry and premium lager for less than a fiver (a lot less). Weather isn't as good as down here but with what you save on house prices you can just buy a holiday home in the sun (which is what I did).Comment
