Had a few rounds of Street Fighter IV last night.

I'm so sh!t at it - kept on getting beaten up by that green man-thing Blanka so gave up.

I played Sims 2 and Football Manager 2010 at the weekend. Also sporadically play Modern Warfare 2 on the xbox.

I want to get more in to games but most of them bore me. About 10 or 12 years a go I loved civ II. Would love to find something like that again.

SimCity 4 is quite playable on a laptop and there is a massive user community still producing new content for it.

Had my first SC2 crash last night when loading a level, no worries was all saved beforehand. Am enjoying it though, usually FPS, but for an RTS it is keeping my attention. Just finished the prison breakout level, well frustrating number of deaths on that.

Before that, last game I played compulsively was Bioshock 2
Same here, was severely addicted to Borderlands when I first started, slowly getting less as I have now all but finshed all the DLC stuff on PC, new DLC coming soon allegedly, so will get that when it appears.

Mr Robin, are you playing on PC or Xbox?

Can always tell a good game by the mood the wife is in!! :-)

Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.

Have just ordered Metal Gear Solid IV, I somehow missed it being announced as released in 2009 and the fact it won game of the year. Now all I need to do is work out how to get my PS3 out the house in Cologne and to the work apartment in Munich without gf chef questioning why I'm doing this when I'm no longer taking German lessons due to lack of time.. tricky

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Just finished COD MW2 on sons PS3. Not really into video games but this and COD5 are so good I have been completely hooked, heart thumping, scanning the screen for targets and especially with a sniper rifle enjoying the kill - Sad but true.

When playing games, switch the language to German. It might help speed up your German language skills
