Not sure how much "As seen on TV" helps. This ain't cillit bang or the last JML potato peeler you'll ever need to buy.

Surely for a niche/specialised set of services, targetted marketing is the only way.

He never took me up on the bet so, unlike AtW, I am not going to write something that will not get used.

Anytime he wants to have the bet I am willing to take part.

That's no way to speak of AtW, he's mostly wind.

I still reckon that's a major hope or motivation at the back of their minds, although in the past Alexie has denied it.

The snag is I'd guess the big guys like Google have their "low level" data harvesting infrastructure pretty much nailed down to their satisfaction, and it's mostly "higher level" acquisitions which interest them these days.

That's not to say they wouldn't snaffle something like Majestic for a few million if they saw even a marginal use for it with their existing set up (which doesn't of course imply it's useless per se if nobody buys it, just not of sufficient added value in some existing environment).

No feckin way anyone is ever going to buy it. I am surprised they even got someone to put money into it.

Yes, and this board isn't our target market.

By putting money into it they've already bought into it so you're already wrong.
