For the same reasons that my dad became a Jehovah's witness 40 years ago and tried to brainwash the entire
family with his crap religion.

Some hopeless, vulnerable, wrongly idealistic people become converts because Islam gives you hope and a sense of community.

If I learned something growing as a JW is that you must sharpen your critical sense and immediately distrust anything that promises paradise.

The BNP promise an ethnic-free utopia.
The fundamentalist Muslims promise an unbeliever-free utopia.

Both criteria almost guaranteeing the opposite of their intention, the first because then Britain becomes an insular backwater, the second because, well, it becomes an insular backwater.
