Them were the days, Manic Miner and all that.

BBC News - Retro computers on display to fans at festival

    Retro computing and all that.

Plus something else I didn't know:

Sophie Wilson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ms Wilson appears at about 2:44 in the Beeb clip.

Nice to see the Orics on there! My first computer was the Atmos:
    HCHOF: Oric Atmos

    Happy days

Was always jealous of the Spectrum and Commodore owners

Am loving my NES Emulator on the Adroid though!

I think you have just given me the reason I was looking for to order that HTC Desire.

I had a BBC B, if only I'd stuck with the programing after typing in the rocket ship program from the user guide... I'd be rich!!

These days I see young people who want a career in IT and claim to be able to 'program' in HTML. They appear to be able to do little more than than download hacks and keygens.

Where would a young person who wanted to get into programming in a simple but fun way start? Perhaps Microsoft SmallBASIC?

I 'taped' that from a Electron owning mate but the BBC B's processor was twice the speed of the Electron, T'was a tough game to play on the old 'beeb'.

If not for Clive Sinclair this site wouldnt exist and it's members would be well balanced, thinner, active members of society as opposed to the motley crew of overweight, balding, socially inept geeks the rest of you are.
