Sounds sensible to have a couple of "just in case" contingencies lined up. For the time being though, is he lovely?

Hey LB - tried your Green Tea prawns this weekend - unusual flavour but I had fried them in ginger and garlic - nice! How long am I supposed to marinate them in green tea?

Not long, about 15 minutes should do it then take the prawns out and put the marinade to one side. Only add it to the wok right at the end of the stir fry to heat it up.

Oh bollocks, I left it for over an hour. Made my wife's mouth close right up like she bit into a lemon.. fantastic, but unexpected and certainly not for long enough...!

          Back to the cutting board....

                Lifestyle....

I guess thats one of the drawbacks of the contracting lifestyle (assuming you stay away during the week)!! Can be fun if you are single...........!! If you are married - probably better to be "open-minded"........

I am sure you are the more serious type Becs......?!

I hadn't thought of that! Yes, I bet it was a tad dry to say the least!!

This week's home cook project is marmalade, as Seville oranges have just come into season.

My late mum made excellent Seville orange marmalade. It was quite a treat. Wilkin & Sons products come very close though.

I've been experimenting with making a restaurant style curry, and I'm getting close.
